Reducing Greenhouse gas emissions

The calculated carbon footprints for our biofertilizers were minimal than for mineral fertilizers. The reduction of greenhouse gas emission in organic fertilizer production in comparison with the emission in mineral fertilizer production was on average 75% for N and 40% for P. The environmental sustainability of biofertilizers through carbon footprint analysis by greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions were assessed last year. This assessment demonstrated the validity of agroecological practices (GM) to mitigate GHG emissions.
